seen and heard at 08:25 on April 6th at New
is the first documented reference to this
species in S. Gloucestershire. It was both seen
and heard in flight low over the 'ramp' at New

the entrance to Northwick Warth before flying
towards 'The Glen'.
On the evening of
April 5th a small bright
yellow finch landed near entrance to Northwick
Warth before flying towards the houses at New
Passage which appeared too small for Siskin.
