One was both seen
and heard in
flight over Northwick Warth at 08:50 on September 13th before dropping
onto the saltmarsh near Chestle Pill at New Passage. It was
relocated remaining mobile and vocal until around 09:15.
This is the first
documented reference to this species in S. Gloucestershire.
A second bird, possibly this
species, was heard briefly on September 15th as it flew from
Pilning Wetland onto the saltmarsh on Northwick Warth.
