2021

An adult of unknown origins (though probably from the Knepp Castle Estate re-introduction programme GB63) was seen on the roof of buildings and in fields between Morrisons and TileFlair, Cribbs Causeway on February 26th. It relocated to Itchington on February 27th - 28th at Lat: 51.579163 - Long: -2.483237.

 

2020

One was watched as it flew high over Fir Tree Close, Patchway around lunchtime on April 14th. It was heading north-east where it was lost to view.

 

2019

One of unknown origin was seen from M4 between J18 and 19 at 11:45 on September 20th and appeared to land in fields north of the M4 and south of Codrington.

 

2018

One was seen in flight heading low north-east over Pilning Wetland mid-afternoon on April 22nd.

 

2016

One was seen in flight heading north over Elberton at 12:10 on April 8th and subsequently seen heading north-east over Slimbridge WWT around 14:00.

 

2015

An adult was seen flying high over New Passage, parallel to the second Severn Crossing and heading towards Newport/ Cardiff at 10:10 on April 21st.

 

2012

Four were reported at Patchway over the M4/ M5 motorway interchange at 10:40 on June 9th.

 

2010

Two were seen in flight heading south over Northwick Warth on September 12th.

 

2007

One possibly this species was reported in the Pucklechurch area on November 4th.

 

1971

A presumed adult was reported on May 23rd from the Hallen/ Compton Greenfield area.
