JANUARY: One present on the salt marsh at Severn Beach on the 28th with two noted there on the 30th. FEBRUARY: Two were seen on scrapes near Thornbury Sailing Club, Oldbury-on-Severn on the 9th. MARCH: One on the scrapes near Thornbury Sailing Club on the 9th and 18th; One noted in the New Passage/ Northwick Warth area mid-morning on the 12th. OCTOBER: One was on show on Aust Warth on the 20th with the same or another in the Severn View Services/ Aust STW on the 21st; One from the saltmarsh at Oldbury Power Station on the 24th. NOVEMBER: One was noted on the saltmarsh at Aust on the 4th; One was present on Pilning WR, New Passage on the 8th; One to the north-east around 08:40 over Severn View Services, Aust on the 16th; One reported from saltmarsh at Severn Beach on the 18th and 25th.

 

LATEST: One in the New Passage/ Northwick Warth area on March 12th. EARLIEST: One on Aust Warth on October 20th. HIGHEST COUNT: Two on January 30th at Severn Beach and on scrapes near Thornbury Sailing Club, Oldbury-on-Severn on February 9th.

 

2022

One noted in flight over Aust Cliffs/ Aust STW on March 18th; One, possibly two, noted around Pillhead Gout, Oldbury-on-Severn on March 21st - 22nd; One on Pilning WR, New Passage on March 26th; One was note on Pilning WR, New Passage on October 11th; One was note on Pilning WR, New Passage on November 13th, 20th and 30th; One from Severn Beach and one around the pontoon jetty at Thornbury Sailing Club at high tide on November 25th; One was present on Aust Warth on December 1st; One noted on the saltmarsh at Severn Beach on December 10th; A very flighty individual was noted on Pilning WR, New Passage on December 24th. LATEST: One on Pilning WR, New Passage on March 26th. EARLIEST: One was note on Pilning WR, New Passage on October 11th. HIGHEST COUNT: One, possibly two, noted around Pillhead Gout, Oldbury-on-Severn on March 21st - 22nd.

Two, a winter and a partial summer, on Northwick Warth on March 30th; One noted on Pilning WR, New Passage on November 13th and 18th.

 

2020
Seven bird days were recorded this year all on the Severnside patch. LATEST: One noted feeding on the high tide strand line near the second sentry box on Northwick Warth on March 14th. EARLIEST: One from the Northwick Warth/ Pilning WR area on October 3rd. HIGHEST COUNT: Two on Pilning WR on December 24th.

 

2019
Twenty-three bird days (involving around five individuals) were logged this year from three sites. New Passage/ Northwick Warth/ Pilning Wetland Reserve (19), Oldbury Power Station (3) and Severn Beach (1). The best months were January (9) and March (6). LATEST: One in the New Passage/ Northwick Warth area on April 10th. EARLIEST: One near Lagoon I, Oldbury Power Station on October 7th. HIGHEST COUNT: One on all dates.
 

2018
Fifty-seven bird days were logged this year from four sites. New Passage/ Northwick Warth/ Pilning Wetland Reserve (47), Oldbury Power Station (5), Severn Beach/ Chittening Warth (4) and Aust Warth (1). The best month was April (17). LATEST: One present on in the New Passage/ Northwick Warth/ Pilning Wetland Reserve area on April 19th. EARLIEST: Two were seen in the Severn Beach area on October 20th. HIGHEST COUNT: Two in the New Passage/ Northwick Warth/ Pilning Wetland Reserve area on several dates in March and April.
 

2017
Forty-two bird days were logged this year at three sites: New Passage/ Northwick Warth/ Pilning Wetland (38), Littleton Warth (3) and Oldbury Power Station (1). The best month was December (8). LATEST: A summer adult was seen briefly at Oldbury Power Station on May 27th. EARLIEST: One was noted on Northwick Warth on October 20th. HIGHEST COUNT: At least five, possibly eight, were noted on Northwick Warth on April 1st.
 

2016
A hundred and forty-six (146) bird days were recorded this year from three sites; Northwick Warth/ New Passage/ Pilning Wetland (139), Littleton Warth (4) and Oldbury Power Station (3). The most productive months were January (44), February (29), March (38) and November (25). LATEST: One lingered in the Northwick Warth/ Pilning Wetland area until April 12th. EARLIEST: One, probably this species, was noted on Northwick Warth on November 2nd. HIGHEST COUNT: At least five were seen on Northwick Warth around the second sentry box on January 9th, February 9th - 10th and March 22nd.
 

2015
Eighty-two bird days were logged this year from three locations; Northwick Warth/ New Passage/ Pilning Wetland (79), Oldbury Power Station (2) and Aust Warth (1). The most productive months were November (31) and December (27). LATEST: One was seen in summer dress in the Cake Pill area on Aust Warth on April 5th. EARLIEST: One was seen on Northwick Warth at 15:45 on October 17th. HIGHEST COUNT: Five were logged in the New Passage/ Northwick Warth/ Pilning Wetland area on November 7th and 18th with five in the same area on Dec ember 27th.
 

2014
Sixteen bird days were recorded this year from four sites; Northwick Warth/ New Passage/ Pilning Wetland (13), with single sightings from Littleton Warth, Aust Warth and Oldbury Power Station. LATEST: One was seen on Pilning Wetland on February 7th. EARLIEST: One was noted on Littleton Warth on October 18th.
 

2013
Thirteen bird days were counted this year from four sites; Oldbury Power Station (6) three each from Northwick Warth/ New Passage/ Pilning Wetland and Severn Beach with one from Littleton Warth. LATEST: One was seen at New Passage on March 18th. EARLIEST: Two were flushed from the salt marsh at Oldbury Power Station on October 4th. HIGHEST COUNT: Two were flushed from the salt marsh at Oldbury Power Station on October 4th.
 

2012
Fifty-five bird days were recorded this year from three sites; Northwick Warth/ New Passage/ Pilning Wetland (52), Severn Beach (2) and Oldbury Power Station (1). The best months were February and March with twenty-one each. LATEST: Two were reported at Oldbury Power Station on March 28th. EARLIEST: One was seen on the salt marsh south of Severn Beach on November 8th. HIGHEST COUNT: Six were noted in the New Passage/ Northwick Warth area on March 18th.
 

2011
Thirty bird days were recorded this year from four locations; Oldbury Power Station (15), Severn Beach (8), Littleton Warth (4) and Northwick Warth/ New Passage/ Pilning Wetland (3). The most productive month was January (20). LATEST: One was seen on Littleton Warth on March 2nd. EARLIEST: One was seen at Littleton-upon-Severn October 1st. HIGHEST COUNT: Three north of Oldbury Power Station up-river of the Windbound on the edge of the salt marsh on January 17th.

One on the salt marsh at Severn Beach on January 30th; One on the salt marsh at Severn Beach on February 6th with two present on February 20th; One on Whale Warth, Littleton-upon-Severn on March 6th; One on the salt marsh at Severn Beach on March 7th - 25th; One at Severn Beach on October 30th; One at Oldbury Power Station on December 7th.
