SEVERN BEACH: JULY: One over high tide on the 3rd, 12th and 30th with two on the 15th - 16th. AUGUST: A corpse on the seawall near Shaft Beach on the 4th; One close to shore early evening on the 12th. NOVEMBER: Two over high tide on the 19th.

 

2022

SEVERN BEACH: At least one on November 1st; At least one on the morning and afternoon tides on November 23rd.

 

2021

Two together from Severn Beach mid-afternoon on May 21st.

 

2020

SEVERN BEACH: MAY: One or two by mid-day with up to three there in the evening on the 23rd. Two over the high tide period on the 24th. JUNE: Two over the high tide period on the 28th and at least five on the 29th. JULY: Two over the high tide period on the 5th. AUGUST: One mid-morning on the 21st, at least two on the 22nd, at least three on the 23rd and one lingering on the 25th.

 

2019

JUNE: One lingering for several hours from Severn Beach on the 8th. AUGUST: At least three over high tide from Severn Beach on the 10th with one close inshore on the 11th. DECEMBER: One from Oldbury Power Station on the 10th.

 

2018

SEVERN BEACH: JUNE: One in 'Burger Bar Bay' on the 14th and 18th; One on September 10th.

 

2017

SEVERN BEACH: JUNE: One on the 6th; An adult on the 23rd. AUGUST: At least two, possibly three, on the 3rd; Two on the 19th. SEPTEMBER: One on the 11th.

 

2016

FEBRUARY: One from Oldbury Power Station on the 8th. AUGUST: Four on the 4th from Severn Beach; One from Severn Beach on the 20th; Up to six bird on the 21st from Severn Beach with at least two still on the 22nd.

 

2015

At least two from the sea wall at Severn Beach on June 2nd.

 

2014

SEVERN BEACH: MAY: One from the 10th - 12th. AUGUST: A moulting adult in Burger Bar Bay on the 11th; At least four from the sea wall on the 12th.

 

2013

SEVERN BEACH: MAY: One on the 12th. JUNE: One on the 22nd. OCTOBER: One on the 28th.

 

2012

SEVERN BEACH: JUNE: At least ten on the 8th; At least 30 on the 9th; One lingering on the 10th; One on the 16th with two, possibly as many as four on the 17th; One possibly two on the 23rd.

 

2011

SEVERN BEACH: MAY: One on the 22nd and 26th. JULY: One on the 17th. SEPTEMBER: One on the 7th.

 

2009

One off Severn Beach on November 18th.

 

2008

SEVERN BEACH: JUNE: One on the 22nd; At least two on the 28th. AUGUST: At least three on the 10th; One on the 12th; At least four on the 13th; Up to four on the 19th; One on the 20th. One picked up dead at Awkley Flood Pools beside the M4/ M48 junction on June 13th.

SEVERN BEACH: MAY: At least two possibly three on the 19th; At least one on the 20th; Three on the 24th; One on the 26th. JUNE: One on the 22nd. JULY: Two on the 9th. DECEMBER: Two on the 7th.

One from Severn Beach on September 13th increasing to five on September 14th.
