A juvenile was found at New Passage early morning on August 28th before relocating to Pilning WR for the remainder of the day. It was still present on the 29th; One was seen in flight over Severn Beach on August 31st; One was both seen and heard as it flew north-east over Severn Beach on September 5th - relocating to Pilning WR, New Passage later; One still present on Pilning WR, New Passage on September 7th and 9th. One was noted in the Pilning WR/ New Passage area on October 11th - 12th and 14th; One present on the foreshore at New Passage on November 18th.

 

2022

A summer plumaged adult was found on Pilning WR, New Passage on May 3rd.

 

2021

Two juvenile/ 1st winters' were reported from Pilning WR, New Passage on August 9th - 10th with three present from August 11th - 16th.

 

2020
One was noted in flight and calling over Pilning WR, New Passage on April 19th.
 

2019
AUGUST: Two were logged in the Northwick Warth area on the 29th with one still present on the 30th. SEPTEMBER: One present on Pilning WR, New Passage on the 20th. OCTOBER: One was seen on the shore at New Passage on the 22nd.

SEPTEMBER: A juvenile/ 1st winter was present at Oldbury Pil, Oldbury-on-Severn on the 21st; Two juvenile/ 1st winters on Pilning WR, New Passage on the 23rd; Two juvenile/ 1st winters were seen on the 24th, one at Oldbury Pill, Oldbury-on-Severn and Pilning WR, New Passage; A juvenile/ 1st winter on Pilning WR, New Passage on the 25th - 30th with two present on the 27th and 29th. OCTOBER: A juvenile/ 1st winter at Oldbury Pill, Oldbury-on-Severn on the 2nd; A juvenile/ 1st winter on Pilning WR, New Passage on the 1st - 31st with two on the 4th - 5th. NOVEMBER: A juvenile/ 1st winter on Pilning WR, New Passage on the 1st - 5th.
 

2016
AUGUST: One was both seen and heard briefly on Northwick Warth on the 31st. SEPTEMBER: Two juvenile/ 1st winter birds were present on Pilning WR, New Passage on the 1st with (probably) the same individuals reappearing there on the 5th; A juvenile/ 1st winter was seen in the New Passage/ Northwick Warth/ Pilning WR area on the 12th and 14th; One was seen on Pilning WR, New Passage on the 30th. OCTOBER: One was on show at New Passage on the 5th; One was present in the Northwick Warth/ Pilning WR area on the 17th. NOVEMBER: One was present on the shore at New Passage on the 15th.

One was present at Thornbury Yacht Club around Pillhead Gout on April 22nd; One was reported in the New Passage/ Northwick Warth area on October 6th.

A summer adult on Pilning WR, New Passage on July 19th; An adult on The Pill, Northwick Warth on July 31st; A Juvenile/ 1st winter on Pilning WR, New Passage on September 14th.

A juvenile at Shepperdine on August 28th; One on Northwick Warth on November 23rd.
