2020

NEW PASSAGE/ SEVERN BEACH: A winter female was present on the seawall/ lower platform from November 7th - 9th and 15th where it was joined briefly by a second individual around mid-day on the 8th. Two birds then present at the same site from November 10th - 14th.

 

2019
One was both seen and heard in flight south over the 2nd Sentry Box on Northwick Warth late morning on September 25th.
 

2018
One, probably this species, both seen and heard at Severn Beach on January 3rd before flying south-west; The predated remains of a 1st winter female were found on Northwick Warth on January 5th. An adult winter male was found at Burger Bar Bay, Severn Beach on December 8th before relocating to the shingle beach.
 

2017
Two were flushed from the gravel on Lagoon III, Oldbury Power Station at 08:00 on November 5th before flying south.
 

2016
One was noted in flight north-east over the coastal footpath south of Severn Beach early morning on October 10th.
 

2014
One was seen on the sea wall at Oldbury Power Station at 11:00 on October 17th before departing south.
 

2013
One, a probable 1st winter male, late afternoon on the sea wall 100 metres south of Severn Beach on March 9th - 12th; Two in flight north east over Aust Warth on October 11th.
 

2012
On February 5th one heard calling over New Passage and seen over the shingle bank before heading north-east early morning; In November, two showed well on the edge of the salt marsh south of Severn Beach on the 8th with five present on the 9th, 11th, 13th and 14th, six on the 10th and four on the 12th.
 

2011
One showing very well on the sea wall at New Passage in the evening on October 20th and 22nd; One flew over Aust Warth mid morning on December 10th.
 

2009
One heard over Cake Pill, Aust Warth in the morning on December 2nd.
 

2007
One in flight and calling over Northwick Warth on October 4th; One at 14:30 on December 20th on the sea wall near Riverside Park, Severn Beach subsequently on the beach.

A single bird at New Passage on October 18th; One in flight at Severn Beach on December 17th.

A female on November 22nd - 23rd feeding on the beach at New Passage.

One sometime in December at Oldbury Power Station.

One at New Passage on February 20th with the same or another on March 13th; One at New Passage on October 23rd; Five were noted at Severn Beach around ST: 538 844 on November 7th; Of the two present on November 20th at Severn Beach one lingered until the 21st.

A female on January 12th - 18th at Severn Beach; A male on January 13th at Severn Beach; A female on February 16th at Northwick Warth (corpse); Five on November 2nd at Severn Beach; One on November 16th at Severn Beach.

On January 20th one at New Passage; One on February 21st at Oldbury Power Station; Eight at Severn Beach on November 25th with one or two at Aust until the end of the year.
