2023

One was heard calling from the reedbed along the concrete path below Aust Cliffs, Aust in the evening on November 8th.

2022

One was heard at Littleton Brick Pits, Littleton-upon-Severn on April 16th.

2015

A male was seen well in the main reedbed on Lagoon II, Oldbury Power Station on October 14th; A female was seen at Lagoon II, Oldbury Power Station on October 20th; One was heard at dusk calling from the main reed bed around Lagoon II, Oldbury Power Station on November 22nd.

2014

A male was both seen and heard from the small reedbed on the north side of Grebe Pond, Pilning WR, New Passage on December 16th.

2013

Two were seen at Orchard Pools, Severn Beach on October 23rd before flying south-east over the ICI works.

2012

Pilning WR, New Passage: Two, a male and female, were seen on October 6th and were still present until around 09:30 on the 7th before departing north-east. They were seen again briefly at 11:15 in flight south over New Passage. They were reported again on October 8th - 9th; At least one was noted on October 13th.

2011

One possibly this species was seen briefly at Oldbury Power Station in the north-west corner of Lagoon II on November 12th.

2008

A male was located at Oldbury Power Station in the main reed bed at Lagoon II at 08:30 on April 26th. It was present for just forty-five minutes when it flew high and circled for five minutes before heading high north-east.

1981

One was trapped, ringed and released at Littleton Brick Pits on April 5th. No mention was made regarding age or sex.
